Summer Reset: Why Smart Women Rest Let's face it: we often wait until we are running on fumes to take a break but this is the fast track to burnout. Even when we take a break physically through a vacation or with time off from work, we struggle to unplug mentally. We're still checking emails, planning meals, anticipating other's needs, and managing it all behind the scenes. Let this summer be different.    Let it be a time for mental clarity, emotional balance, and reclaiming your priorities. In fact, the most powerful move you can make right now might not be doing more but doing less , on purpose. I'll be honest with you. This morning, I caught myself in a familiar pattern: listening to a virtual conference, skimming emails, drafting web content, and already thinking about the next commitments I could add to my plate. It hit me: I'm writing about the importance of rest while doing the exact thing I'm inviting you to shift. That was my wake-up call. Rest isn...
This is Your Season To Bloom: Summer is nature's way of reminding us that growth is not only possible but is inevitable when the conditions are right. Flowers don't ask for permission or wait for perfection. They grow, open up, and bask in the light. So why shouldn't you? As women, we often spend so much of our energy nurturing others that we forget to water ourselves. Summer is an invitation to shift that. Pull the Weeds: what old habits, outdated beliefs, and limiting thoughts do you need to get rid of? There is no room in your garden for what doesn't serve you. 3. Open Up: what does blooming look like for you and what is a gentle s...
Fireworks Within: Celebrating Independence, Strength, and Pride as a Woman this 4th of July The 4th of July is more than fireworks, barbecues, and red, white and blue streamers. It's a bold celebration of freedom and independence. For women, it can serve as a powerful reminder to reflect not just on national liberty, but on our own personal journeys of strength, self-worth, and pride. In other words, independence is not just a historical milestone-it's a mindset. It's the deep knowing that you are capable, resilient and worthy of the life you desire. As a coach, I invite you to use this Independence Day not just to celebrate our country, but to reconnect with your own inner fireworks: the sparks of passion, courage, and purpose that make you unstoppable. What does freedom and independence mean to you? Freedom could mean financial independence, emotional autonomy, creative expression, or simply the ability to choose your own path. As women, we often carry generations of expe...
